The aim of the European Maritime Policy Unit is to contribute to the formation and implementation of a Greek Policy of European Governance in the sector of maritime policy. In this direction, the Unit aims to highlight the Greek position, as reflected through the relation between institutional actors and the influence of pressure groups, to assess Greek efforts for the promotion of our country’s interests, in formulating or revising aspects of the European maritime policy, and to assess the implementation of agreements concluded on European maritime policy on behalf of Greece.
The Unit aspires to become a coherent link among, science, shipping, business and other agencies and the potential of our youth on a European, national and regional level. In addition, through our educational programmes, we aim for a more hands-on and applicable contribution in this area.
